Paint Stripper and Fenders

A new truck accessory.   Absolutely necessary.

Mice made a home in my windshield wiper panel.  They're long gone, but the damage they left behind lives on.  Their damage has made it a little harder to remove this panel.

One of my rear fenders I just picked up. They were as expected, or even a little better.  I had to make two trips to pick them up due to their large size, and the small size of my car. As a side note, the paint on these strips off fairly easily compared to the parts I already had.
I started stripping some paint last week.  My doors have thick bondo work over pop rivet sheet metal repairs, and dents.  The galvanized sheet steel had 3/32" of bondo, or more.

Here's a close up of the bottom patch.  Neither surface was prepped very well for painting.  I found a lot of rust under the layers of paint.  Once I got to the patch metal I was able to lift off the bondo in large chunks.  It had poor adhesion.  I'm guessing it wouldn't have taken very much driving to make it fall off.

Soon to come:  Electrolysis rust removal, patch panel welding

I'm about to pickup my rear fenders from the Greyhound depot.  I'm pretty excited to see if they are worth the price I paid.  Along the way I'll stop at the paint shop to do some research on paints to run through my new paint guns, and maybe pick a color scheme.  I've thrown in some photos of what I've been up to lately.
Draining the radiator in preparation to remove it.  The bottom of the support is held together with sheet metal and screws.  I bought a replacement on ebay, and will be getting new hoses.  The radiator will get sent out for repairs.
Someone pop riveted sheet metal on the door bottoms and bottom outsides to patch it.  I don't know if you can see that in the photo. I plan on stripping them this weekend to see what I'm up for.  Horizontal arrows point out rivets, vertical arrow points out where the sheet metal patch ends.
De-rusting some ebay special parts in Evapo-Rust.
The truck as purchased.  It's still mostly the same, with a few parts taken off here and there.
